HWR original Dear God

HWR original 9 x 12 acrylic on canvas by Sandy King. This painting is dear to me. It was the first painting I did after my Mom went home to the Lord. When I was a little girl my sister had this quote written on a small piece of paper with a little hand drawn sail boat on her pin board.  The quote has stuck with me my entire life. This painting was inspired by a Paint your Heart and Soul 2018 lesson by Nikol Wikman. It was supposed to be a starry night over pine covered mountains and this emerged. “Dear God, be good to me. The sea is so wide and my boat is so small.”
